This Texas Style Chili recipe is from Relished Foods and is great in a pinch for dinner. It was quick and easy to throw together and well worth the minimal effort required! It was so hearty and really hit the spot.
Coming home from work and cooking a meal is one of the hardest parts of my day. When I get home, there is nothing I want to do less than cook. It’s not that I don’t like to cook. By now, it should be pretty obvious that I do! It’s just that I would much rather throw on some Pajama bottoms and a tank top, grab some ice cream and cuddle up in my bed watching Nashville on repeat.
Why do I struggle with this so much? Part of it is the grocery shopping. Another part of it is that I never know what it is I should be making during the week. I do most of the recipe development for this blog on the weekends and otherwise, I can’t be bothered to cook a proper meal for myself. The biggest part though, is that I am lazy and exhausted and I just can’t muster up the gumption to get in the kitchen Monday-Friday night.
Nope. If I’m being honest, most of the time I am eating a granola bar for dinner. That’s a little better than ice cream, am I right Ya’ll? (Remember Nashville? Yeah, I’m really binge watching it at the moment…) I always tell myself that this week is going to be the week that I meal plan, shop, prep and actually cook dinner. It never happens. I know it’s bad. I know I should be eating a proper meal of protein, healthy fat and vegetables instead of ice cream for dinner but sometimes I’m just too lazy.the nonexistent cake my memory green onions and garlic strain them thoroughly chewy inner Carne Asada Fries I’ll get there chocolate and wine tiramisu ice creamtiramisu the flavor possibilities
